I came across this fascinating infographic on the history of publishing, produced by Finvy.com, and had to share it with all of you. Among other things, I was startled to realize that Amazon was up and running three years before Google came on the scene. And both of those companies are younger than my kids! And, as with my kids, it’s hard to remember life before them, or imagine life without them.
It took humanity 37,000 years to move from cave walls to clay tablets. Another 3ooo years to get to paper. Then another 2000 years to get back to tablets…electronic ones this round. Doesn’t it make you wonder how we’ll be reading 2000 years from now?
Enjoy…
