Tucson is a great place to be in the winter months.
Warm, sunny weather, of course. The Tucson Gem & Mineral Show (runs through February 14th this year). And then, especially for book lovers, the annual Tucson Festival of Books! Join a hundred thousand other book lovers for two days of author meet-ups, talks, and workshops along with acres of exhibits and vendors who love books and book lovers, all on the University of Arizona campus.
If you’re interested in writing your memoirs, don’t miss Gail Woodard’s two presentations. On Saturday, March 12th at 2:30 in Koffler Room 218, Gail will discuss Memoir Writing with Brooke Warner, publisher at She Writes Press and Mary McDonough, who you may remember as Erin in the TV series, The Waltons.
On Sunday, March 13th from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., Gail will offer a workshop called Memoir Writing Do’s and Don’ts. Find her in the Student Union, in the Santa Rita room and leave with tips and insights to make your memoir writing easy.
